Southern Voices

History

Southern Voices Choir was initially named Kingston Singers and was founded by Margot Lampkin in 2000. The name was changed to Southern Voices a few years later.

Southern Voices sing a wide range of music: - Popular, Classical, Jazz, songs from Stage Shows, Anzac songs and Christmas music and Mozart Requiem.

Southern Voices, along with Lincoln Singers and Men In Black have given so much to our communities and will continue to do this for many more years under the leadership of our Director of Music, Madeleine Dyer, who took over in 2022.

Southern Voices hold their rehearsals in the Kingston Uniting Church Hall, 42 Jindabyne Road, Kingston, on Thursday nights, 7.15pm - 9.30pm
